New Museum of Old Machinery Opened in Nizhny Novgorod

For 20 years, a collection of objects that are the technical heritage of our country has been collected bit by bit.
April 30 on the street. Bolshaya Pokrovskaya, 43, opens an exhibition of technical rarities, which should soon become another cultural attraction of Nizhny Novgorod.
Among the exhibits of the young museum are antique objects, carefully restored machines of the 17th-19th centuries, old metal-cutting, woodworking and measuring tools, including the ingenious scales of Russian merchants, castles, sea sextants, Russian soldiers’s weapons, the first jukeboxes, the first bicycles, and much more.
The main goal of the museum organizers is to demonstrate the beauty of the creations of the hands of Russian masters, to restore Russian historical memory, to educate young people in the spirit of respect for creative work.
The young museum is constantly updated with new exhibits from both different parts of the Nizhny Novgorod region and from the old Russian industrial centers. He is actively helped by enthusiasts of Nizhny Novgorod enterprises and simply not indifferent people.
The exhibits of the young museum were repeatedly successfully demonstrated at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair, in the exhibition centers of Moscow and other cities.
